Event Format

11:45am-12pm - Arrive for check-in (please register online prior to the event!)

12:00-12:15pm - Lunch will be provided. Grab your lunch from the buffet and spend a little time networking with the marketing community.

12:15-1:00pm - Listen to the speakers' presentation (~30 mins) and engage in Q&A

About the Speakers

megan roweMegan Rowe (@cvillemeganis an online marketing specialist at the University of Virginia Health System, focusing on social media and content marketing. She edits the blog Healthy Balance and manages the Health System’s social media accounts. She graduated from Virginia Tech and has also worked in journalism and public relations.

Megan is currently the Membership Chair of our Central Virginia chapter of the AMA.

amy-sarah marshallAmy-Sarah Marshall (@maiaomingcame to web communications by way of a master of fine arts in poetry from George Mason University. She applied her creative talents to working with several nonprofits to organize and present their content with the user experience in mind.

Whether blogging, analyzing data, or developing SEO tactics, Amy-Sarah blends the artistic with the analytical to infuse every project with fresh vision. Her daily work at UVA Health System includes writing and editing content for the blog and website and using Google Analytics and SEO research to inform information architecture and campaign dynamics.
