About Our Chapter

The American Marketing Association (AMA) is nationally recognized as one of the largest professional associations for marketers. The Central Virginia Chapter of the AMA (CVAAMA) is a collaboration of visionaries in marketing and academia. We are a respected, non-profit organization comprised of businesses, advertising agencies, marketing professionals, consultants and freelancers throughout the Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Staunton, Waynesboro and Blacksburg areas. 

Our vision is to serve as a forum to connect like-minded individuals and foster the sharing of knowledge, as well as be the trusted, go-to collaborative resource for marketing in the Central Virginia region.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization.

CVAAMA is run soley by volunteers. None of our hard-working board members and committee members are paid! Volunteering allows us to give back to the community—plus it's a great networking opportunity. Don’t hesitate to reach out to any of our board members if you're interested in getting more involved.

Sponsors are the key to the success of our events.
